Kwality Wall’s (India) Limited (“KWIL”) has recently become aware that certain unauthorized persons, entities, websites, social media accounts and other platforms are falsely representing themselves as being associated with, affiliated to or acting on behalf of KWIL and are purporting to offer franchise opportunities for use of the KWIL brand name, trademarks and works. It has further come to our attention that such persons and entities are even soliciting and/or collecting money and personal information from members of the public on the false pretext of facilitating or granting such franchise rights and related business opportunities.
KWIL hereby categorically states, clarifies puts everyone to notice that it does not offer franchise opportunities through and has not authorized, appointed, engaged or otherwise permitted any person, entity, intermediary, agent, representative, consultant, website, platform or third party to solicit applications, investments, payments, deposits, fees or any other consideration on its behalf in relation to any franchise opportunity.
Accordingly, any representation, communication, advertisement, offer, proposal, demand for payment or other activity suggesting the availability of a KWIL franchise opportunity should be treated as unauthorized and fraudulent, unless expressly communicated by KWIL.
Members of the public are strongly advised to exercise due caution and vigilance and to refrain from associating with any such entities/persons or making any payments, transferring funds, disclosing personal or financial information or otherwise engaging with any individual, entity, website, platform or communication claiming to offer or facilitate franchise opportunities on behalf of KWIL.
KWIL expressly disclaims any association with or endorsement of or responsibility for any such unauthorized activities or persons, entities, websites, platforms or communications. KWIL shall not be liable for any loss, damage, claim, cost, expense or consequence of whatsoever nature, arising directly or indirectly from any interaction, transaction, reliance, engagement or dealing with any such unauthorized person, entity, website, platform or communication.
Any person who has been approached in relation to, transacted with, or suffered any loss as a result of such fraudulent activities is advised to immediately report the matter to your jurisdictional police, including the relevant cybercrime authorities, and to seek such legal recourse as may be available under applicable law.
